Why would I give af about getting banned? Virtue signaling circle jerk ass reddit is just to kill time. People really like patting themselves on the back and downvoting dissenting opinions on views they don’t agree with on certain subreddits. Im sure at some point I prob will get my acct banned from offending some snowflake. Im only here when theres nothing good on 4chan. Not that it was ever good to begin with

I try to delete my account once it hits a year old, just good practice on a place like this to stop people reading too far into my past, so in that sense its a throwaway. I also have an account i use to post things people might be able to link back to me, so rl friends cant see the shitposting i do, but this is my "main" account.

I come from a time long before the Web, much less social media on the Web. I was married long before Social Media was ever a thing, so both my late wife and I never got into it (aside from Facebook, which was much more about keeping in touch with family than anything else). It was only in the last few years, almost a decade after my wife died, that I started to stick my toe into certain corners of Social Media in an attempt to be a little more social myself. Reddit being the first, on a suggestion from a distant acquaintance of mine.

With that said, I keep my online persona quite divorced from my meatworld existence. I even use remote desktop systems to post from, so that any IP address cannot be traced back to me (I run servers, so I need static IPs on my own connection). And this is aside from a VPN, which I also do have. Layers, like an Onion, because nothing is ever foolproof.
