What simps call loneliness we call freedom

Bullseye!

The loneliest person in the world is a man in a bad marriage or relationship that he desperately wants out of, remember that ! If you ask almost any married guy if they would do it all over again, at least 99.9% of them would say fuck no :)

My dad used to say "a man never knows true happiness until he's married....but then it's too late"
[–]Chat_Bastard19 points20 points21 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I'm a married guy, and I'm in this subreddit just to warn younger men. Seriously, you do NOT want to ever get married, it's a living hell that will end in your financial and emotional devastation. If I can do any good in this life, it's pushing forth this message about marriage - DON'T DO IT.
[–]theyreusingme7 points8 points9 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
How far into your marriage did you realize this? Just wondering
[–]Sir_manalot18 points19 points20 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Why say bad marriage?
Just say marriage.
Even if a man is in a happy marriage, he is still lonely in the end.
[–]Eyes_Of_The_Dragon19 points 7 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
I told everyone they could leave early yesterday. Several married men said they stay late because if they went home they'd have chores on the honey do list.
[–]VenetianCares 8 points9 points10 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
no, most men will say that with their eyes. but you forget most men are stuck because of the baby trap. i've asked this but most say no because they'd never want to give up having a child. they love their child so much. men do have an evolutionary instinct to protect their young.
that is where most men go wrong. not just marriage but kids. i know many men that are not total simp's and who would probably walk away or do it all over again, but they are trapped, not by their mind, but by their child. you have no idea the sick and twisted shit women will do with the kid to control the father. its sickening.
1.) accept her abuse and mind games.
2.) don't take her shit.....lose your kid.
imagine a game where both outcomes are literal hell.

My last year of marriage was the worst time of my life. I couldn't talk to anyone without sounding like a whiny bitch. Who wants to be Captain Bringdown? Nobody wants to hear a man's problems.
2 years later, I never feel lonely..divorce saved my sanity. Life is great!

I’ve always thought loneliness is not a product of being alone, but rather of being in a situation where there should be intimacy, but there is none.

Damn these comments are making me think. I've felt more alone in social circles where im not valued/awknowledged than I have ever been in my room with nothing more than the internet.

This is spot on. I'm fortunate I've only had two relationships and that's exactly how I felt in both of them. If you're not Chad, the game isn't fun.
[–]ThirstySasquatch15 points16 points17 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I have to agree. I think the loneliest times in my life were when I was in relationships.
Women just have this way I've almost exiling you inside your own life. Slowly, she pushs your friends away and your new friends are hers. Your home becomes less and less like a home as she continues to add random decorative shit that you didn't want and eventually your style or flare is no where to be seen. They make you feel like you have nobody to vent to, nobody to go to. It's weird as hell.

How many nights have I slept lonely and miserable while married.
How many nights I've been sleeping alone and peacefully now that I'm divorced.

Being alone is mandatory, being lonely is optional.

What love? Love does not exist. It is just their turn.
[–]samsoldit9 points10 points11 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I have endured my last heartbreak over a woman. No. More.
[–]VenetianCares 9 points10 points11 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
women simply do not pair bond like we do. briffaults law is always in effect and you have to pay for pussy, from a whore to a queen.
most men are fooled, because women DO pair bond. the first 2-4 months, women do have "infatuation", not love, but a strong infatuation for their mates. sometimes completely in a selfless way. no resources, good moods, dick sucks. perfection. but if you think it ever lasts you'll always leave disappointed.
their pair bonding simply doesn't last like men's does. i've seen men loyal and caring and in adoration for their wife or gf after 5-10 years. never seen a woman happy past 1-2 years EVER.
if you really need companionship, there is only one option. get a vasectomy and serially date women for 4 months then find another. but then there are always rape and METOO on top of that. so only do that if you can protect your assets. women DO NOT like getting dumped.
as you get older, what you see as lonely changes. the #1 way it changes is you are not jealous of others. i see Chad's out with a banging hot girl, i'm not jealous now, i'm concerned for him. i wonder what stage of mentally breaking him down she's at. i've seen even the strongest Chad's crumble under a woman's brain and tactics. you think Brad Pitt feels good right now dealing with his legal issues. even the best.
i'm a talkative person. i miss having someone to share with. i sometimes miss having someone to sleep with or eat dinner with. but i know the cost and its not worth it.

somehow it makes me feel better because it kinda make me laugh, and at the same time i'm sad for the person getting cheated on

Shit it was me before, a mfr don’t give a shit about you, that’s what got me thru it. I could no longer care for someone that didn’t care for me

loneliness...
if you learn to love yourself,
you will no longer be lonely,
for, you have the one you love most...
learn to love oneself.
[–]cleats4u9 points10 points11 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Women don't know love. It's a fleeting experience for them. After that it's a fucking resentment. And if you stick around, your going to meet the authorities or be miserable until she dumps your ass. A long bumpy plane ride...to the scene of the crash. That is how you will remember it.
[–]KhajiitFL8 points9 points10 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Was actually asked for advice/reassurance by a girl doing that.
I reassured her that she was ending her relationship and convinced her to do it quickly rather than drag it out more and hurt the poor sap.
[–]drucifer088[S] 5 points6 points7 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Ya I agree, same situation happened to me, I’d rather end it now than drag it out cuz u think ur gonna hurt my feelings.
[–]KhajiitFL2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That's just how it goes. I think we can choose to further the warfare or choose to promote growth instead.

[–]somber_smiles5 points6 points7 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Well... tbh you mean most people are being cheated on... and by people I mean men. But that's not really the issue, the issue is that we want to feel a connection to someone other, and brotherhood and camaraderie can only go so far. That's why we have the three D's your dogs, dudes, and dolls. Now I know that for some men it won't be enough, but until the creation of better AI, autonomous robots, and the artificial womb... its what's available. So go out there and be happy. The plantation is not the solution.

I felt more lonely while married to my ex, compare to now... monk mode 2 years 3 months and counting.

Why are you friends with this woman
[–]8-db-8 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Coworker, it's fine for me. Anyways, she already microrejected me before, so I don't orbitate her and lost any interest by my part.
[–]drucifer088[S] 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Ya I’ve been in both sides of this, some times the truth hurts some ppl, it’s always better to be honest tho
[–]wheredidiputit 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
No matter how beautiful and perfect she is, there's a man out there who is sick and tired of her shit.

A man gives a woman his heart because it's his only and its special. A woman takes his heart and adds it to her collection.
