A relationship is over when it is no longer a net positive for you. If she doesn't "love" you but is the greatest sex partner ever? Maybe that'd a net positive to you. Maybe she's not very sexual but she gives you amazing emotional support? Perhaps you like that.

Does she bitch all day and you have to bankrupt yourself to keep paying tons of money to make her happy? Sounds like a net negative.

Maybe she demeans you? Insults you to others? Maybe she's politically different than you?

Net negative.

So you look at your life/relationship/happiness balance street and you make the call.

It's basic emotional math.

I have a high bar myself, the second a relationship becomes slightly annoying or a red flag might be there, I'm gone. I don't let it get more involved than casual and fun and happy. Not that 'stick around and work on the relationship' nonsense until almost half decade of your life has been wasted.

Time is valuable. You'll never get it back. How much time do you want to have a life liability on the balance sheet?

Take my advice, I'm in my fifties and have had three serious LTRs. Once the relationship goes sour it NEVER gets better, only worse. I moved out from my last gal twice but went back to her still for a third go-around (third time lasted six months). But things didnt improve , instead just steadily worse. Have the courage to leave what is not good and find a better relationship or take a break for a while. You will be amazed what you will find if you just have some courage.

That tells me that she already has a orbiter that gets her attention, thats why she dont give you those feelings to you... if the amount of sex also is less... run away from her, another man is already touching her too. My relationships are always over on the first date for I bring it to the divorce right away on the first date and make a huge fight....All relationships are over the second they start...I prefer finding out the monster hiding behind the smiles on the first date right away than waiting 20 years and only seeing the true demon in divorce court...

People confuse "love" with "infatuation".

Love is supposed to grow each day. You know you love someone when you genuinely care about them and all you can think is their well being.

Infatuation is the hormonal response to physical attraction and is what people call "falling in love". Infatuation has an expiration date of about 2 to 3 years.

It seems that infatuation phase is over for you, and if she doesn't love you (I can even bet she doesn't), you can kiss goodbye your relationship.
