I was there a couple of years ago, the pop is 400k-ish....a small city for the entire country.

I encourage every feminists to leave all countries and go live in Iceland.
Please show the entire world how it is done.
Also, make sure to disable/destroy any transportation method to help you leave.

I don't know about Iceland. If they did that here in the US, we'd be okay.
According to the Dept. of Labor, the most common jobs for women:
Elementary and middle school teachers, RNs, secretaries, nursing and medical aides, customer service, misc. management, retail lower management, cashiers, office lower management, accountants and auditors.
The only thing that would really hurt would be losing the nurses and the teachers.
Wouldn't even make a dent in the day-to-day, though. Now by the stats for men on the same page, if we went on strike as a gender it would be utter chaos. Full on, broke, blind and bedlam.

Losing teachers would probably be a good thing.

Yeah, but men used to be teachers and nurses. So can't we just pick up the slack? I think men should go on strike and we can let them have the coal mine jobs. I mean, let's be honest, we can all do women's jobs. It's women who cannot do men's work. I work in finance and retail, and I have the most sales at my store, with our store being one of the highest grossing stores in our city, in a city with a population in the top ten. I have worked construction, kitchen work, field work, and plenty of retail. I can deal with customers all day in retail and in finance, and I can also work in a field. Women can do half of the jobs men can do, and none them as well as a man. I work with two other women by the way, and I'm the only male salesperson. I kick their ass monthly.

I'm definitely not saying we couldn't pick up the slack. The best teachers and most of the best nurses I've had have been men. I was just saying that those were the only relatively critical jobs where they make up a lot of the workers.

Not gonna lie I was waiting for it to follow up with “after the walkout, there was no major fluctuation in Iceland’s GDP and the remainder of those employed carried on with their work”

Women have successfully executed “sex strikes” for various issues as well.
As long as we have a world full of sex addicts, we will have a world full of drug pushers.
No more addicts = zero power for the pushers.

This is the issue but unfortunately i think we will always have a majority of drug addicts. The solution will be to set society up in the such a way that they aren't incentivized to screw over other men for their next fix.

"The men could barely cope" hahaha as if house work was a impossible task to do.

wouldnt work in the US, their jobs would just be replaced by immigrants lmao
[–]Pacifist111 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yes to a degree. Remember they walked out of business and home. So the men had to bring their youngest children to work. Since they had no childcare and schools were closed.
The question is if the strike had lasted 2 weeks would the schools have hired male teachers and industry have adjusted and gone back to business as usual.
Note "The men could barely cope." Reverse the strike and see how women fair.
[–]DemonGroover1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Pretty sure the men coped.
[–]jonathino0011 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Probably. None of that conflicts with red-pill ideas. I'm sure the men couldn't cope, they're all simps. And when they say "Now Iceland has the highest gender equality in the world" it's probably the feminist definition of equality, and I guarantee women's happiness is still lower.
I'm not surprised the country went to shit after 90% of women went on strike. That's about 45% of the population. Society is a delicate balance, if you suddenly take away that many people from their jobs, of COURSE everything goes to shit. It doesn't prove the point they're trying to prove, that "See? Women are just as important as men!" well no. That doesn't prove shit. How do you know society woudn't be thrown into even WORSE chaos if men went on strike?
The truth is we've already seen a better test. "The Island" with Bear Grylls. They put a bunch of men on one island, and a bunch of women on another. Guess which group thrived, while the other didn't accomplish shit?
