Theres benefits to both. Short and sweet claims (like this tweet) are good for scratching the surface and making people think a little. They arent really redpills though. More like red pill microdoses. Theyll get people to maybe see an unfair dating norm, but they wont get people to understand hypergamy or anything like that.
Long, thorough explanations can getvpeople to understand ideas like hypgergamy, but have the drawback of a limited audience (since so many people wont bother reading it).

I remember reading a thread awhile back about where a woman posted an askreddit thread about why do men enjoy going to strip clubs, and the top answer was actually really insightful into the quiet plight of men.
To summarize, the guy said that when you go to strip club, the girls treat you like you’re interesting, they care about making you happy, and at least act interested in what you are saying. You don’t have to feel like you have to impress the girl and takes the pressure off of the normal expectations of the mating dance. It’s a place where you can feel attractive without having to impress anyone. It allows you to feel okay with yourself and often times they will let you talk about what weighs on your mind.
To me that shows the quiet suffering men feel in our society. We are expected to cater to women and not talk about our problems. That we aren’t loved; we have to prove to society that we deserve love. To me that’s the hardest part about being a man.

When you look at feminism as a whole it's not that specific women lack empathy for men but rather that they pretty much all do. Feminism wouldn't be able to get off the ground if women actually cared about what their men experience in their day to day lives.
I mean, sure, you could have a vocal minority speaking up, but these things they're saying would be seen as completely unnecessarily and totally attacking the men that other women supposedly love... so much so that you'd have a very large and very angry response.
That large and angry response wasn't there. That large and angry response isn't here. Women are not empathizing with men at all (and, along those lines, don't love men). At best you have some angry murmuring from a handful that either maybe do or, more likely, know they should.

The most most annoying thing I hear from women when I criticize feminism is "oh, well they're not REAL feminists", and then they'll admit that the others are extreme.
This happened in one of my classes one day actually (a fairly civil class conversation); the girl used this as her response, and I asked "then why don't you DO anything about it, if feminism is about equality to you, and you see people doing and creating horrible situations for men, why don't you call these women out? I don't have the luxury of being able to do that, take a look around the class right now almost every girl is looking at me like I just took a piss in public for criticizing feminism even though we both agree that the criticism is valid. As a "real" feminist they can't try and shut you up with their stupid looks that are supposed to make me feel bad just because I'm a guy saying this shit".
Entire class was silent, and even the professor talked to me after class and thanked me for saying some of that shit (even though she's a woman, and a "feminist"). She said young women say crazy shit in her class all the time and don't really have a solid grasp on feminist topics and just simplify and parrot things that sound and feel right to them. I don't agree with feminism, but I'll gladly consider a lady like that who can actually have a conversation and recognize that mainstream feminism is completely batshit as an ally.

Literally the only reason men ever paid for dates was because women werent allowed to work until the 1950s and their role was entirely that of the caretaker, the mother of a household. Thats why alimony is broken, they still assume women are incapable of surviving on their own, well at least thats how alimony works. So as women entered the workforce it was still quite common to pay for dares since many women still didnt enter the workforce. Fast forward to 2000s and now everyone has to work and has money for themselves. Yes, one parent still works (breadwinner) and one still is the caretaker for children but the breadwinner today can be either female or male despite that its still usually male.
That being said there is no reason, other than upholding tradition, to continue to pay for dates. Just say "im traditional i guess" and we can move on. Everyone else in the sub has realized how bs this shit is and are tired of having an empty wallet and no girlfriend. My friends sister literally told us she will sometimes go on dates for a free meal bc she knows the guy will pay.
If we both have 15k in the bank, then why is one of us paying?
Lastly, what men and women bring to the table in a relationship in 2018 should be, imo, equal. We are both individuals with interest, wants, and desires. It is no longer the way it was in 1940 man, join us in the realization and help us fix this shit
