The starter cord was broken down to a couple of strands and needed replacing. And that required drilling out rivets and replacing them, and that meant moving the fuel tank, and that meant replacing the line that cracked as soon as the tank moved.

But hey, it runs now and I feel accomplished.

Also, for future reference, the same thing happened to me. If you tear the label off the top of the motor, you will expose the pull starter component. You merely have to place the correct socket size onto your cordless drill and and by spinning it you will start it manually. You won't need to use the cord ever again. Of course, this is a jury-rigged solution that would hurt the machine's value if you wanted to sell it to someone else. Even though it's arguably a better system. I just brough mine back from the repair a couple of hours ago (by the time I'm writing this). One of the wheels fell off and I needed to replace a component which I didn't had. Will be back to mowing the lawn next weekend. I'll post pictures of her later.

Ata boy ! I just bought a Toro Personal Pace Recycler off the internet for 50 bucks that needed repairs. Fixed it for about another 20 and bammo got myself about a 300 buck self propelled mower. There's tons of things out there being practically given away because (a) people are too fucking lazy or don't wanna do any research to fix it themselves, or (b) their women which just reiterates (a).

I do remote tech support and I love it when I push three buttons and they go insane thanking me when it starts working. I also started fixing stuff around my apartment since I moved. It might be simple but using your own hands to fix things is amazing.

Damn right. Men are supposed to fix things. It makes us feel good. Fuck disposable consumer crap. That doesn't play to our strengths. It makes us weak and useless. You shouldn't value "convenience" in your life. That is what women value, but they are lazy as fuck and you are better than that.

I'm a pro mechanic. Just me and two other dudes, telling jokes and fixing cars all day. If I don't want to do a job, I tell the customer to fuck off. We're booked two weeks solid at all times. I work my dick off. I can also fart whenever I feel like it and don't have to worry about women nagging at me. Actually, due to liability issues, when a woman does enter the shop, I get to yell at them and tell them to go in the other (office) door. It's paradise, brothers.
