I think the blackpill is a product of society. I think society profits from it. Look at advertisement its made to make people feel incomplete so they need to buy.
The most basic human beings, what sometimes we call npcs, will not think deeply about the issues of the world and where they stand, and will simply find coping mechanisms like materialism and consumerism to get by, and those live happily, until the bubble bursts if it bursts. The system loves these types.
But the other level above, those cant simply stay with their head burried in the sand. And those are to be destroyed by the system, because they wont comply. They are the blackpill, they see things by what they are, but are in shock, paralyzed and cant even defend themselves. The answers use to be hard to find, and men were very isolated and thought to themselves they were the only ones who knew the true. And that makes you think you are alone, therefore blackpilled.
Very hard to be a true mgtow in the 90's or even 00's.
But mgtow and the internet changed that scenario.
The redpill or mgtow, its one step above, although it doesnt necessarily apply to men that have been blackpilled before, but in a lot of times it does.
The blackpill is sometimes a detox phase that is necessary, i think that the blackpill and the redpill rage is almost the same. Since mgtow started, the blackpill has been declining.

If you've rejected the stock lifescript and don't want children or a woman in your life, and you don't want to live your life in service to a society that gives zero fucks about you or working to the bone for an employer who similarly doesn't care about you, what better alternative is there to hedonism? Life is fleeting and there is plenty of pain to be had, so why not try and minimize that while maximizing pleasure?

I don't think there's an inherently correct answer to this question. If there are goals you have that are served by delayed gratification, then by all means limit your short term hedonism. But many people, for good reason, they lack those goals.

And we cant blame women for hating married men, or men that fail the shit test, that a relationship is. For they evolved to have a radar of weakness in men. And men nowadays that still clinge to relationships with women, are obviously weaker than those that dont need it, mgtow.
When all hopes are gone. Men are liberated and ready to set their own paths no matter what they are told, because they have nothing else to lose. Thats when they realize they are free, and they didnt need the bluepill, afterall we descend from free primal men that were hunters.
