Straight outta college, dad had me work retail so I learn some principles instead of just getting an office job at his company. It was fun. I met this couple. Russian. Dude shows up, seemed like a decent guy. Then his wife says something in Rusky, and he turns to her and they start arguing and he says something in an angry tone and she starts crying. Lmao. She was hot af but for some reason I felt the dude is in the right. When two men are talking, a bitch shouldn't interfere. Some guys showed up asking the girl if she is okay and if they should call security.

Anyway, I did not intervene. Not my circus, not my monkeys. After wards I saw the woman being all lovey dovey with her man. Lmao.

I remember back a very long time ago in my country (Philippines) there was a show on TV that advised about how some criminals operated by victimizing women. They would approach a woman in public and yell at her and accuse her of abandoning him and her kids, leaving them to go hungry while she went with her lover, some shit like that while slapping her over and over which also prevented her from talking back. It all depended on shock and awe. While the guy is doing this he would take the woman's possessions (at the same time accusing her of abandoning her kids to starve, so people will not interfere) Usually the guy would be long gone before the woman can come back to her senses and then she would cry and say that she doesn't even know who that guys was, but most people who witnessed it would not even believe her and think she deserved it. I don't know if this scheme would still work today here in the Philippines because guys are starting to get soyified here as well.

My uncle told me this exact same shit many years ago.

He said back in my country a man was beating the shit out of his wife and he stepped in and fought the man. Moments later when the husband was on the ground guess who the woman was defending? He's right, I've seen it happen. A bloke on the train one night was having an argument with his girl, he gets up and starts punching the shit out of her. One guy goes to intervene and his GF, rightly, pulls him back and says "no". Once the driver said the cops had been called, the both pushed the door open and ran off hand in hand, after he'd just bloodied her face. Never, NEVER step in to defend a woman. If that bloke had stepped I know and his GF knew that they would both turn on him. Never white knight, NEVER.
