Who wrote this? I've been saying something similar for years. The examples people use to describe the most intense experiences of love are rooted in gene propagation and are not real love at all. Real love is as described in this text. When you have nothing to gain and choose to be loving and kind THAT is the purest form of love.

Most people do this so they feel better about themselves, not anything to do with the kids/old people themselves. It's about as selfish as you can get in a lot of cases.

I think there is a unconditional part in love. Lets say you have a wife. She cleans, looks after children, is faithful, love you, sex is great and "insert what do you expect". In return you love her + other extra stuff. These are all conditions for boht parties. But would you offer the same contract to another women? She is yougher, sexier and will do everything your wife does. If you dont keep your offer exclusive to your wife, then you are fully conditional. But if you keep the offer exclusive to your wife, what is the condition of this exclusivety? I think it is unconditional part.

I would say that, for the most part, mothers never live their sons. They train them to be polite, obedient minions who will one day worship at the feet of another woman. This is not love, this is the best shot 80% of the males (and thus, her son) has of reproducing.

This is not true entirely. Everyone always has qualities that we love about them; that is inevitable. That is conditional love. But it’s possible to love someone unconditionally in addition to the qualities we love about them. I’ve experienced this with my wife, where I have loved her when she has been caring and positive, but unconditionally loved her whenever she was uncaring and negative. That’s the only way a marriage can survive, through the good and the bad, through sickness and through health, for better or worse and until death do us part. Unfortunately hardly any women today are capable of practicing this kind of love because they are brainwashed and self entitled, but it is possible. Parents have unconditional love for their children even when they behave like brats; I know I do as a father. It has to be that way, otherwise parents would dispose of their children on a massive scale, just like women dispose of their husbands. You are right though mostly. Generally people are incapable of unconditional love, but there are exceptions to the rule, but it’s not worth taking the risk for a man because he is most likely to pick a bad apple; the odds are stacked against him. That’s why I’m MGTOW.

Even if said love is not unconditional, this does not mean that therefore it is a selfish form of love, or the most selfish form. You either argue that there is no unconitional love, which might be true I do not know. Or that a mothers love is the most selfish form of love, but as you state romantic love is also selfish (wanting to splice your genes). So which is it?

Then you argue what unconditional love is, which apparently is loving someone without expecting benefits. But here is the kicker, giving love is also a benefit, since in general loving feels good. What you might refer to is that unconditional love is giving everything for someone while respecting nought in return. The question ofcourse is wether this is unconditional or simply psychotic or mabye those 2 terms are quite similiar.

Anyway I think 'red' pills work better when formed in logical and extensive argumentation. Not some edgy worded paragraph with a incoherent message and almost no argumentation.

Then again if that is your way then you do you man, that is simply what MGTOW is all about.

The only condition you have to satisfy to be worthy of your mother's love is that you are her offspring. You don't have to do anything else for it, there are no further conditions, and nothing that you can do will ever change that.

I don't think unconditional love exists, just as true altruism doesn't exist. Everything we do as humans is influenced by an internal effort-reward system. Working at a homeless shelter gives you feels in return. After all, if you hated it, you wouldn't do it. So the fact that you do anything means that you gain something from it. It's the same with love.
