I just realized this will be the first holiday season I have had without a female who isn't family in my life since I was 15 years old. I am 40 now. For the past 24 holiday seasons I have had a female to waste my energy and resources on. I am excited and ready to have a holiday season without someone expecting me to spoil them with gifts and new experiences.
