Jezus Christ, what a load of horseshit! By this guys logic, we all should go back to plantation, because that would mean more pain and suffering and strife for us, and that, by his reasoning, is more worthy of having than a life of pursuing your own values and happiness as a free man. By his logic, we also always should choose the hardest, dumbest and most wasteful way of doing whatever, because that would make things so much more difficult, and thus, more valuable. Fetishization of pain and hardship is nonsensical, counterproductive and outright stupid.

Yeah, I like Teddy, but this is pure bs. I'd rather have easy life and not have to work a single day any more, than have to go through hardships so some random dude said "Dayum! This guy is so great, look how hard he struggled and how much he achieved!".

It is true that nothing in life is both easy and satisfying (else everyone would be fulfilled now), but the way this is said is underhanded and manipulative to convince man to work hard to make other people rich and happy at his expense.
Just because something is more difficult, painful and hard doesn't mean that it is better. What actually matters is if the final reward is worth it or not.
If a man spends a few years working hard to get in shape, then the end result is worth it despite how difficult, hard and painful it is.
But if a man dedicated his life to a wife in marriage, he will wish he stayed single towards the end of his life.

No, it means if you want to accomplish anything worthwhile (i.e. enviable accomplishments) in your life, you will have to put in a herculean effort.
I want to just eat chips, play games, and jack off my entire life, but would that be enviable? Or would my life be enviable if I dedicated it to something (e.g. curing a form of cancer, which, of course, brings a lot of hardship and pain) ?

Struggles for a man are inherently good for a man, on a biological level. You cant improve in anything unless youstruggle with it.
MGTOW lets you choose what you want to improve upon for yourself, while the media abuses this and tells you WHAT to struggle in for everyone else around you.

The struggle isn't what is good, it is the reward of said struggle.
If I work hard and get nothing, then the struggle will not be worth it.

I see merit on both sides. I will say however, that most humans who've lived have not had easy lives. To have an easy, comfortable life is a luxury. At the same time, self-improvement often requires discipline, and a byproduct of discipline is the pain of sacrifice.

Sam Walton's heirs. Trumps kids. They have a luxury life. The only leveling effect is health IMO. I'd rather live a healthy life than a wealthy one. Steve Jobs had a quote to that effect before he passed.

Tons of people have easy lives without any suffering and they are very happy and satisfied with the end result.
Just look at all the rich and beautiful woman in the country. They just have to have sex with countless rich men whom they find as sexually attractive...that is it.
And they probably even enjoy sex more then men do.
Tons of rich men also never have an actual day of hardship there entire lives. They just party, have sex and consume there whole lives.
It is also why they complain about useless shit. There lives are so amazing that insignificant things are the only things they have left to "fix.". Ex: complaining about the toilet seat being left up.
