Yeah, the reason they do that stuff is because they get away with it.

If you can prove they did it you'd probably win a lawsuit, at least for the actual damages. But, often that costs more than it is worth.

If they literally did vandalize your car and you have proof your better bet is probably to just go through insurance and give them the evidence. There is a good chance they would go after her even if it cost them to do so. They would also press charges, and it would be her against a nameless corp and not her against a big bad mean boyfriend. The nameless corp probably donates more to the local representatives.

This is what happens in a lot of domestic abuse situations. People get pissed, woman can't take it, woman starts to destroy man's property violently, man tries to stop her with restraint, she fights back, man is stronger and acts on instinct (its naturalto hit back when someonehits you), man gets arrested.

Girlfriend started up my backside with some petty bullshit. Saying I wasn't contributing enough. So I started taking my shit out of the house (started with the dab equipment), saying she could just rely on herself then.

She wrestled me to the ground over MY bong, and was making it impossible for me to leave with my own stuff. So I broke my bong on purpose. Then I put my fist through all 3 of my TVs (I was thinking that she should just buy her own TVs if she wants to watch). So after I broke a bunch of my own stuff to spite her, she goes out and smashes the windshield of my new car with a fucking rock.

So I break my own things because you wont let me leave with MY STUFF and you get revenge on me by breaking my stuff. Uh...
