It just comes down to what the players want when they pick race and gender.
The guys that pick male usually wants to play as badass warriors,
And the guys that pick female usually wants to play as a hot chick.

Man, it's just not women.
Just casually browse the TES V: Skyrim steam page or load up youtube. A lot of guys seem to love playing as scantily clad human or elven women in totally unrealistic armor and looking like they're fresh off the salon. I don't think they do that for roleplay purposes.

This just is not true. In fact its Males that like playing attractive females. Most of the chicks I play with in wow have male sprites, some to avoid being harassed, others because they simply like the male sprite better. I mean Im sure there are some women who do, but its done to appeal to male biology.

This post is dumb. think what? That video game developers know that 80%+ of their player base is male and males are biologically attracted to the female body, so they make their female characters of all races look appealing to humans? GASP!!!!!!!
