Not a week goes by where we are not approached or asked by someone who is connected to a future-spinster...
The Jewish and Mormon cohorts are farther along in these challenges than the secular society.
So, that could be why we are so chased today.
Jewish parents in particular are having a very hard time finding men for their daughters.
It is quite a concern. In my opinion, these markets are the "canary in the coal mine" for society in general.
What is currently challenging the Jewish community will become more and more prevalent in the secular community very soon.
The challenge for women is not going to get any easier, but much harder very soon.

my brother married a jewish girl. 10 years into the marriage she inherited a million dollars from her wealthy grandparents estate. And then promptly filed for divorce from my brother to pursue her dream of becoming a writer.
BUT...! She made a stupid mistake when she deposited her inheritance into their joint account. In their state all that money was now community property. My brother was a gentleman and she got off relatively easy in the divorce by agreeing to pay off their $200K mortgage and give him the house. She kept the rest of her inheritance. No alimony, no children or child support. My brother basically walked away with a home free and clear. His jewish ex-wife went on to become a failed writer.

Well speaking of my sons, they do not want or have any interest in marrying any western woman, particularly one who was raised in a privileged home.
One of the reason why Jewish women are so challenged is because of inter-marriage.
A generation or two before, if you did not marry a Jewish girl, your family would cut you off...
And in order for a person to be born Jewish, the mother has to be Jewish, regardless of what the father is, as descent in Judaism is by the mother...
So, Jewish girls had a premium in that it was only them that could give men a Jewish born baby...
Not today.
And now when these girls, who are for the most part very spoiled and entitled, have to compete with secular girls, they are losing big time to them.
Also, Jewish girls have the highest divorce rates and highest rates of initiating divorce than any other cohort.
So, I do not blame my sons for not wanting a Jewish wife...at all.

Oh he definitely has a point.
Under Jewish law and custom there is a very defined division of labor and responsibility.
The house, the home, belongs to a woman and she is responsible for running of a loving home...is the basis.
What it has morphed into though is crazy.
many people don't realize this but it was only after 1948, that Jewish men, particularly Sephardic men, were limited to only one wife...and the only reason for that was the establishment of Israel, and to fit in line with the greater Christian world...
So, where you have a custom that started off well and good, can morph into an abuse of power.
When women were held in check by their fathers and husbands, it was a good law.
now that society empowers a women to have more power than a man, it became an abuse of power.
Secondly, if you wanted to your son to father a Jewish child, it had to be with a Jewish woman...so parents would literally beat and suede their sons to marry, and just make it work out...
Many believe that love only developes after you are married, so it does not matter how you feel when you get married...
Not saying that is wrong, as many I know are incredibly happy living that way of life...
But how or what do you tell a teenage boy today..?
When the parents do not observe themselves..?
So the problem is that Jewish women were in demand and carried a premium worth, but today it is not recognized as much, and all the negatives that developed due to that demand, are now very difficult to deal with, given women are so empowered by the State as well...
Sorry for being wordy, but it is a complex situation that is a precursor to the secular society...
FYI, my eldest son has been to Israel 3 times...all expenses paid... They run groups for free trips and visits to Israel. They are supported mostly by the synagogue, but specifically from the fathers of Jewsih girls with no prospects, trying to encourage Jewish men to marry them.
Last trip included over 30 girls, and 4 young men...
I asked my son how was trip when he got home...he said great, had a blast...asked him if he met anyone, he laughed and said "dad, it just ain't going to happen for them, as bad as I feel for them cause they're nice and all, there is no way, no way...
So, what is there will be coming everywhere.
Watch, this is going to get ugly.
Youngest son is planning his first free trip to Israel this summer...everything paid...as he is a Jewish man (doesn't hurt that he is good looking and is pursuing a "provider" education)

Most assuredly it does.
But religion in the Jewish population is the same as religion most everywhere, there has been a huge decline.
So, if a young man was not raised in that way he has less incentive to stick to the narrow acceptance of who he can marry.
Here's the deal actually.
From years of being brow-beaten by their wives and parents, Jewish men have become very good husbands, fathers and providers.
And equally, from all the years of entitlement, Jewish women have become more undesireable.
So, when you throw into that mix where Jewisj men are not restricted to whom they can marry (as Conversion today can lead to Reform, Conservative or Orthodox lifestyles - wherein before it was not available)
Men, Jewish men included will marry the best women they can...and today it is not working out that those women are Jewish women...

I think the problem is more complicated than "the jews did it". I'm not saying they aren't responsible for a lot of societal destruction, but that they aren't responsible for the whims of a female nature. What we're looking at here is the differences between the human races. You know, like different breeds of dogs. Jews are indeed responsible for a great many evils that befall a civilization, but not because they themselves are evil. It's just that they are a different people with a different morality. It's not just the jews either, you can probably pick some other racial groups that don't mix well together.

it's not frequent, thank god. Honestly the last time was last year - I went to the office and met somebody from a different department. He asked the usual boring questions and when it came up that I was single he told me to get married. ASAP

The reason why marriage tends to create stability in society is because it enslaves men. Give a man freedom and he can use that freedom to go wild. Marry him to a woman and he turns into a resigned, lifeless worker drone slaving away 100 hours a week just to keep the woman happy and pay for the mortgage, school fees, car payments, wife's credit card debt, etc.

To be fair, it enslaves both men and women to each other. But yes, usually throughout history, women had it better than men in marriage, especially since the industrial revolution when domestic appliance were invented and the whole household tasks could be done in 1h30 per days during the week. Women had the rest of the day to do whatever they pleased while men were working a solid 10 hours a day at least...
