So one thing that kills me is how boys nowadays are being raised in a way where they aren’t hands on, don’t try to “figure it out”, and don’t really act like “Men”

I was raised in the US by my family who came from Communist Poland (was at the time) back in the 70’s. My old man, grandpa, and uncles collectively taught me how to fix and build pretty much anything. On top of that they taught me how to be ”Hardy” and able to withstand any weather (especially cold). How to really be a man!

Now spending time with my nephew I see this little dude that doesn’t have interest in hands on stuff or be able to show the critical thought process for various problems. It’s not my kid but DAMN! Let him be a man! If they end up moving back up here I’ll have that little Dingle Berry straightened out!

Anyway, how do you deal with your young men? How do you get them ready for reality? How are you raising him?
