I often wondered why large portion of men above 30+ age were frequent drinkers. Now I realize why. Most men growing up have been fed with lies about life. Like hard work brings success or getting married is great. So, most men tend to do exactly that. But by the time they reach their 40s they realize how futile it is to work for some trust fund prick, never able to quit your job just so that you can feed your ugly and ungrateful wife and indifferent children. Never having the freetime or money to pursue your hobbies and dreams now that you have to be just a provider. Never being able to express yourself or your hardship without getting shamed for it. Only place you feel you can take out is the bar, few round of beers doesn't solve your problems. But it certainly an escape, albeit temporary.
