This has been bothering me for the longest time. The majority of men I associate with are all pretty based. They can joke about the absurdity of modern life and angry political nonsense. They are intelligent and have good paying IT and engineering jobs which require real world results.

However when it comes to engaging with these people in open society, they physically avoid confrontation and mentally retreat into their own safe space of pop science, pop culture and internet memes. They quickly concede their beliefs around their girlfriend/wife, agreeing to whatever she says and believing they are "the good guy".

When evil ideologies and identity politics are brought up, they quickly shrug their shoulders and change the subject or say they don't care. They consume mainstream media fake news relentlessly even if they don't believe it, mindlessly changing their social media profile picture background for whatever fashionable cause and color is running that week.

It seems to me these men are in endless denial, using escapism, slave behaviour, avoidance and slacktivism to avoid having to think about the madness that is going on in the world. If you bring up something like MGTOW they will spout propaganda citing that feminism is good and that this is a misogynistic incel movement, you only have to see the wikipedia article to see how this brainwashing effects so many because majority of people consider wikipedia and mainstream media as factual.

However by ignoring reality, they open themselves up to being used and abused by women and a hateful society like generations of men before them. Supporting evil without even knowing why until they suffer the consequences of ignorance.
