As the saying goes, or should go, feminists shanked themselves and other women with their short sighted schemes.

In my own company I've seen repercussions of these hare-brained schemes and how metoo is hurting women in long run. Some situations I've seen happening in my workplace are hilarious. For your reading pleasure:

  • Hiring of women to high stress, high payout jobs like sales has gone down drastically. Sales means rough talk, hard work and no excuse attitude. Management realised a woman in sales can misconstrue anything, esp don't take tough talk and feedback well, and might sue back company

  • Very few interns and fresh grads hired are women now. Team leaders are very uncomfortable working with young women, or don't want to, because of you know what...one allegation and a decade long career gone.

  • critical roles like tech development and analytics take men despite having women of same qualification. Reason being, these teams are expected to work very late at times, they end up staying in office alone or few people at a time. And offcourse management felt it is a unsafe practice for women to stay back that late. So what happens, this type of roles are now only offered for men.

You get the idea. The jobs which have best growth potential are now practically men only jobs because management wanted to avoid situations that could lead to #metoo

No wonder pay gap exists ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
