Nah, the traveling trend is overrated, a friend I have is very smart, but never took the pill, never needed it, he started traveling when he got spare money, 10k euros later in traveling he still works a deadend job while he's looking for THE GIG! ™
Idk man, 10k would be a good start for THE GIG™
But hey! He's well traveled

People are less into possessions and more into "experiences" these days, but to me that's just trading one type of mindless consumerism for another.

Traveling makes sense if you go to different places to absorb their culture, get different perspectives on life etc. If you go to Vegas and other such places and blow money out and call it traveling, well I don't know what to tell you.
I'm very asocial, can't mingle with any crowd, and traveling isn't my cup of tea

The difference is that one can be cleared into revenue in a time of need and it fill up your second level of the pyramid of needs: security

If the dudes got a job and lives in a western country he's almost certainly got level one and two filled, and i'd imagine the travelling is more a status/ego/feeling important thing than anything else.

If you go to places where all the people wear the same clothes, look at the same phones all day, talk about the same Netflix series. That's not worth the time and money. And the US and Europe are mostly the same. Unique cultures and uses have eroded after 1945 when the US started to push it's culture.
First thing I saw in Poland on a trip... Burger King and women with Louis Vuitton bags. I could've taken a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam to see the same tourists

The comments in the Facebook post are so painful to read like this one -
Even as a single man, this is totally preposterous. How does being married cost you more than being single? How does marriage prevent travel? This makes no sense at all.

Are men really this brainwashed and deluded? Yes.

You're not happy unless you're a battery for the machine overlords. They are so benevolent. They let me pretend I eat meals!

yes, especially if one just talk about the principles and making deductions from experiences without the TRP/MGTOW labels.

indirectly? firstly they are thinking about the financial benefits until they eventually realize how fucked up the world has become thanks to female empowerment.

I read elsewhere that MGTOW is a psyop by certain groups to reduce the birth rates of certain other groups. But that's silly, because those same groups need us to keep marrying and producing tax cattle.

I hope I’m wrong but Mgtow will never go mainstream. A lot of people on reddit who claim to be mgtow. Aren’t. If you are married or have a steady girlfriend you can’t be gyow. YouTube has very solid mgtow content. I love undead chronic, hammer hand, mrelite. It’s ok to have sex. But if you’re really going your own way you would never live with a woman in a marital or boyfriend type way. I encourage the gentleman on Reddit to subscribe to mgtow content on YouTube and bichute.

To each their own, but imo travelling is overrated when you're young.
Save, invest, get a mortgage on an affordable property and when you've done all that and saved up 3-6 months worth of living expenses, save up a few thousand dollars and then go travelling once or twice a year.
I earn more than some of my 40-year-old co-workers and they all have kids and I don't. Not bragging, but despite them complaining about wanting more money and being in better financial shape, they still, continuously, keep pushing me to travel. Even though I'm still young and I've been to England many times, Wales, France twice, Andorra, Italy and Australia on holiday before. It's like they WANT me to make the same mistakes that they did.

Best advice ? Buy motorcycle and TRAVEL with it, a used one works too because it's still better than a used woman, virgin bike is always better than virgin girl.
