If I hear someone say "it's a cope" then I know as a FACT that they really do not know the true nature of women, HYPERGAMY. I'm in the weird position of never having actually been in a relationship. But I chose MGTOW not as a means of coping with an inability to be get laid, not as an outlet for my rage, but because it was the only thing that made sense. It's an idea based on the purely practical.

It's something I find hard to explain to people, but not because I don't have an honest answer for them. The logic is so simple that it's like they need there to be more to it. "I think marriage is not wise and I'm not interested in what women have to offer," are just unacceptable answers for some reason, and they keep pressuring as if they think they'll coax the REAL answer out of me.

I've been called gay, I've been called pathetic, I've been asked who hurt me, everything in the book. And when that is someone's response to your honest-to-God answer, what more is there to say? I've given them the truth, they're free to do with that information what they like.

MGTOW is not a means of coping, it's just a smart move to make. There's no ulterior motive for it, it really is that simple.

Like many others here, I had plenty of relationships that could have been much longer( and likely turned to marriage) but none ever seemed worth it to me so I got out of them. MGTOW for me is just realizing that I was actually thinking clearly all those times when I got out. The concept is airtight and can only spread more widely...

For some, it may not be a cope, but it definitely an elaborate rationalization for their relationship failures with women. A normal man would never choose MGTOW...it is the lesser of two bad options: be a beta cuck or gyow. If those are the options, the choice is clear.
