Stupid is what stupid does (or what stupid believes).

They don't realize that most of us are born stupid the same way we are born weak. To become strong we must embrace pain to a degree: physically through strenuous exercise, mentally through wrestling with painful truths.

Until these people develop the ability to accept pain as a means for growth things will only get worse.
