I've been seeing a therapist recently and he recommended that I practice mindfulness, aka being in the moment, in order to reduce my anxiety/depression since that stems mostly from my constant future thinking, which causes me to be detached from the external world and not being able to enjoy my successes.

So I've been learning how to better temper my awareness in order to be in the moment more. One thing I did yesterday was simply take a walk while listening to music and take note of every smell in the neighborhood: fresh cut grass, water, dirt, wood, etc. It sounds really silly, but it made me feel more grounded.

How do you guys practice mindfulness?
