Yeah, I kinda think this is BS on both sides.
I agree that women are far less fiscally able/conscientious than men, but I think that the average person on the whole has their shit together a lot less than those numbers state

I would tend to agree with that, simply from anecdotal evidence from my own life.
Far fewer of my friends have their financial life in order than ones that do.
Hardly empirical evidence, but I feel like I know some pretty average people

The last one is meaningless. Being confident does not mean it is correct. Women seem more likely to ride the index whereas men often bet it all on a couple things. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
