Buddy's a serviceman. Long story short he and his lady had a hot/cold relationship. They got married before he was deployed. They didn't talk much initially -- her still playing hard to get/thinking she's too good for him -- then she couldn't get enough. Kept asking if he could get back sooner. Eventually he returns on leave, notices she's put on a "few" pounds. She lashes out at him saying he should want her for more than just her body. Over his time home they lay as man and wife do. On his way out she says she feels pregnant. He doesn't really know what to say about this, so he doesn't say anything. A few weeks later she tells him she was right. He asks when the kid's due, she's flabbergasted. After a short intermission she gives him the date. He calls up the doctor's office to confirm. Gets a different date, let's just say it was outside the margin of error. He confronts her. She goes on about how HE abused HER trust by going around her back and contacting the doctor's office without her permission. Turns out she had been less than faithful. He ends things with her. The court has sympathy on her cause she's an expecting mother. So now she has a chunk of his change and he's paying her to live in his house with her deadbeat boyfriend (they're not married cause he doesn't have a job and she doesn't want to lose alimony).

My buddy's barely keeping it together. Any words of advice? He's been trying to get me to settle down so we can raise our kids together (no Homo, like little league and shit). I haven't introduced him to MGTOW and I'm worried it might seem like I'm rubbing it in his face. Needless to say focus is pretty important in his line of work. How do I get him out of this tailspin?
