Sanity by not having to argue/talk with women

Walked by 2 people, a man and a woman, coming out of a bar near my house. I overheard the woman talking to the man about her... sleeping patterns. Who the fuck wants to hear about that? The guy was literally just zoning out like "uh huh, yep, uh huh" headed straight to the apartments across the street. I could tell he had picked her up for a lay because he was not listening to ANYTHING.

Either that or she was his wife but he was somewhat older than her in looks from what I could tell so I doubt it probably.

I literally felt my IQ lowering as I listened to that drivel outta that whore's mouth, I actually had to slightly jog away to get out of earshot.

Never again.

As someone who used to be nice, but now am mostly indifferent I think the main thing is not thinking any single person is special or even important. I refuse to change to be an asshole, that's just not who I am and never want to be that guy. When I see an asshole, I think that person must have a shitty life and never envy someone that can be an asshole.

If you are to be nice don't do it for expectations or validations. Not because you look up to someone, that's what I feel is the difference. Never look up to anyone never look down to anyone and that will decide how you experience life.

Nice to hear that you found value in being nice, the world is shitty enough if we start having any person regret being nice.

This post is contradictory, or at least a bit inaccurate. Potentially harmful, too (to a total newbie).

What is the definition of a nice guy?

There's certainly the whiny little bitch who uses "niceness" as a way of manipulating other people into his fairy tales (as opposed to growing a pair of balls and taking what they want and/or saying it upfront, as it is). Once rejected, they throw emotional tantrums as the little kiddies they are. I would know, as I used to be (and still am, to an extent) this kind of a guy.
There may be a more mature version of a nice guy - one who got burned in the past. They may recognize that altruism is the most beneficial strategy for humans as a whole; and yet, they know human nature - so they save altruism for those who are worthy. Either that, or they remain giving without an expectation of reciprocity, retaining their inner peace (but that is not a nice guy - that is a saint).

Nice guys don't get nice things. Nice guys get shit on. What you are demonstrating is a change of attitude (seriously, good for you, as attitude is everything).

I may not be expressing myself clearly here. That is because the subject is complex, and there are multiple layers of meaning to it. For example, on some level, you are a killer (unless you believe that meat grows on the shelves of supermarkets), and aggression is a means of self-preservation. The self-consuming rage of the frustrated nice guy may have something to do with rejecting these primal layers of his nature.

Women's sexual preference has evolutionary subtext to it. This is because in pre-civilization days, nice guys didn't finish last. They finished dead in a ditch. Mating in today's world has, however, turned into charade - gym bros passing as highly fit males, no tigers to thin the herd of weaklings, etc.

Then there's the civilization layer. Cooperation really is the best strategy there... but this goes against the evolutionary hard-wiring of humans. Many just "can't help it". Civilizations crumble as selfish behaviors infiltrate various institutions of the state. Modern man is thus essentially fucked.

Recently, a book caught my attention. I liked the illustration on the cover, and the title (Becoming a Barbarian). I'm yet to order and read this book; and yet, I bet this book delves into this kind of a topic.

Being NICE is completly USELESS, it's just emotion which can't be monetized into anything, if you would have something useful for female like height, muscles, money, status you would get 'nice girl'. From a female point of few a nice guy is a scammer, a fraud trying to get something for nothing. Would you go into parlour massage and expect to get free massage for being nice guy ? No ? But it's the same with women - you expect pleasure without offering anything. Nice guy are retarded for not being able to grasp such basic concepts. And BTW nobody is really nice, people are nice when they try to get something out of you.

Nice guys tend to be the biggest dipshits and the most anti-MGTOW people.

I knew one of those Nice Guys™ from a job I worked at in college. He wore fedoras regularly, his hobbies were DnD and LARPing on Saturdays with friends, he talked about antiquated ideologies like honor and chivalry, he called girls "dear" and "darling" in regular conversation... it was quite the farce. He was basically coating himself in woman-repellent, but constantly talked about how nice and charitable he is, but no girl had the ability to see past his exterior and see "the warrior within" or something utterly gay like that.

I have no love lost for these types. Simps of the highest caliber.
