I practice it if I have something important coming up in a week or two like a competition. Yes it gives you a tremendous amount of energy, but it's hard to stick to.

Side effects are one or two nights of insomnia, anger episodes, and porn-like images flashing through my head at random times. Benefits are great mood, huge boost in productivity and energy, and less aches and pains. YMMV.

It makes me more attractive to women when I do it, but I don't care because I've gone monastic. So I don't count that as a benefit.

I noticed a few differences, but they were all negative. I was consistently in a bad, aggressive mood and overly agitated by small things. Girls that I would never be attracted to usually because they're fat or ugly were starting to look appealing. Stress levels were higher in general too, probably because I was always on edge and just pissed in general.

One positive was when I finally wanked, the orgasm was glorious. Would never do No Fap again though, it was a waste of time for me. 2 or 3 wanks a week and I'm happy as a pig in shit.

My thoughts on it are this. It's alright to masturbate as long as it doesn't take up too much of your free time. Me, I only do it once every few days, if I haven't been laid in that time. I do not use porn. Watching a woman receive pleasure while you yourself release dopamine, serotonin and a fuck ton of other reward chemicals is bad news, reinforcing that you have to please women and will be rewarded (my opinion, not debating it) I use oils and massage outward until release.
