Prepper gear is always good if you fear a complete collapse. Guns, ammo, long shelf life food, seeds to grow food that can be stored, water purification tablets, solar powered electronics, knifes and other good quality outdoor gear, precious metals, basic medical supplies, antibiotics, etc. If you believe only a partial collapse is coming, the precious metals will protect you from inflation, but probably won't put you ahead very much. Real estate and crypto have a reasonable chance to put you ahead, but have moderate risk as well.
