Some people from older generation also struggled with this. Example: If you would travel back in time and ask people: If you were black how do you think you would feel to be a slave, and treated like shit because of your skin colour. The answer you would revive would sound something like: That's the dumbest question I have ever heard.

Haha, I love when she realizes how wrong and dumb she is, instead of laughing and saying: "Yeah, haha, that's right, how stupid of me.", she starts hamstering: "But >>I<< wasn't born 5 years ago, >>I<< was born in 1993." lol, seen that a lot with many women (especially with one: hy mom!). Note this, and note it well, you see it a lot these days: she is wrong, and very confident and defiant even though she is provably wrong.

There is no curiosity or openess to find out the answer or why it is different to the one she has, even though it's a (for want of a better term) simple puzzle.

He didn't explain it right. He should have said if you are born in 1993 how old are you now? If that question is answered you ask if you were born five years ago at what age did you get born 1993 - 5 = 1987 Then how old are you when you are born in 1987. If you don't know it then, then nothing will.
