Please excuse the navel gazing for just a moment.

I can't help noticing the fate of my posts in this sub, as contrasted with a year or two ago.

Back then, upvotes were slow and brigades would frequently take a post or comment below zero.

I haven't much changed my demeanor or technique, other than to cut down a bit on wall-of-text posts.

Now, however, the better posts get upvoted much more quickly. Brigades surely still exist, but their power to sweep posts and comments below zero seems limited.

Gentlemen, I believe we have momentum.

Perhaps not enough to save Western civilization, but at least the trend is in the right direction!
