I have been experiencing this now for the first time in 20+ years. I should feel lonely, but I feel like a man who has been released from jail. I used to fantasize about coming home to the "love of my life", but that's just not how it worked out for me. I never got a "hey honey, I love you, good to see you"+ (hug and kiss) it was complaints, requests, questions, more complaints, lists of things we "had to think about", honey do items....just like an endless staff meeting...so much non stop ear rape. All I wanted was a few minutes of quiet. Now I have it.

Hell yeah! This is exactly what I do except for the tea part. When I get home from work I sit in my armchair with lemon water and play video games. It's so relaxing to be alone.

Sometimes I feel loneliness, because I live in a foreign country and miss my parents and sister. However, most of the time it is pure freedom, and I have a good set of friends.

After work, I go to the gym for 2-3 hours every day so when I get home I'm glad to be in total silence, eat and go to bed. Not only is no one there to bother me, I don't have to sleep next to someone snoring!
