The next frame should be the blonde running after the guy with the wheel barrow.
[–]Darth_Toenail97 points98 points99 points 8 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
No, that's what happens without a magic wish. He'll get the last laugh - the guy with the wheelbarrow full of cash will lose it all to a golddigger, the guy in the starfighter will have to give it up because his wife doesn't approve, Superman will go to jail for checking out ladies with X-ray vision.
True love guy will get laid every night and have to put up with none of the bullshit that stops him living his life to the max.

I'm pretty sure you misinterpreted the entire thing. If they had women in their lives, they wouldn't be allowed to go to a wishing well in the first place because it would be a waste of money he should be spending only on her.

That wouldn't be true love then, which would make the well a monkeys paw type deal. Space ship crashes, dudes flying fails while he's half a mile in the air, wheelbarrow full of money are poorly made fakes, etc.
[–]AudioAssassyn0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That's a missed opportunity if I ever saw one.

If I would have one wish, than yes, I would wish for a women who truly loves me, for what I am, for what I have and what I do. A NAWALT / unicorn / perfect wife. Someone who will not betray me, cheat on me and be by my side.
I could wish to be superman, but I wouldn't find a Louis Lane in the real world. I could wish for a Star Wars space ship, but would only attract guy who will find this cool. I could wish for money, but would only have goldigin whores around me.
So yes, I would rather wish for true love than being alone in this hook up culture.
[–]newMGTOW13 points14 points15 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
honestly, even if I could have a unicorn, I probably wouldn't, the fact that vows are for life I find rather daunting, Also I don't think I would enjoy the amount of compromise needed for a long term relationship. In fact I would probably be the partner who ends up falling short of my responsibilities, you know the kind of person who gets wrapped up in thoughts or their projects so much they forget to eat for a whole day, except I'd be forgetting my partner, you know, like da vinci or Tesla but not as smart. I would feel guilty and not worthy of such a woman I think some people even if not mgtow are more suited to stay single.
Also it occured to me that a star wars ship would be expensive to run but you could take people on paid joyflights to cover that. It could make you money but money wouldnt get you the ship as hyperspace tech doesnt exist irl.
[–]Kornstar040 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Expensive to run, how so? Is there star wars fiction about space mechanics and cost?
I'm just don't like commitment for anything longer than it it fun/great. I can do a ltr like a tattoo, not at all.
[–]newMGTOW0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It would be a pretty complex piece of machinery, high tech high speed propulsion, micrometeorite fuselage damage, life support, fuel, electrical systems, things break and need fixing if you're gonna operate it in any kind of atmosphere at speed you'd need to deal with heat shields/heat damage. If a considerably slower 4 seater jet private jet is anything to go by (or even a piston engined Cessna) it can bleed any individual that isn't flush with cash dry pretty quick. for this reason most weekend pilots rent or co-own.
Star wars isn't a spacecraft repair and economics documentary so that why they wouldn't include that in the film in any real depth, it doesn't mean that this aspect of spacecraft ownership does not exist, its just their target audience would rather see people flying ships and shooting guns rather than watching them fix them for an hour.
nonetheless I'd still pick the ship if i had to choose between those 4 panels.
Just to note, if you can't commit to anything longer than it is fun you might have trouble obtaining greater achievements and the associated satisfaction such as a 300kg deadlift after you've worked hard at it for years, or building yourself a fast car, even if it initially sounds fun there will be challenging or tedious hurdles along the way, like having to painstakingly modify the frame to fit your new engine in or cleaning rust of old parts or just not being able to get the tune right or injuries in the gym. Part of your aversion to commitment could be due to how modern media and society is all curated to short attention spans and instant dopaine hits, we all suffer from that time to time, but a quick dopamine hit in no way measures up to the character building and satisfaction of a long term goal.

I for one would rather have supernatural powers or wealth over love, even if the wish did make the love sincere.
On that note... the thought that the wish is the only thing that maintains your 'love' would constantly be in the back of your head. It would drive me nuts.
[–]IHadStringsNowImFree2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Definitely would take the superpowers over money. First because getting money would be pretty easy then, plus flying must be fucking amazing.
[–]dobby060 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Kinda like the plotline of the movie "Passengers".

A lot of men (including me) would absolutely pass up on fabulous wealth or an adventurous life for a decent looking woman who isn't a bitch, won't cheat, won't divorce and will do the things women used to do in a traditional marriage.
Give men a traditional family without the chance of being fucked by the family courts, and we'll work like crazy to provide. Women fucked that up and men are walking away from that deal.

True love
So basically he wanted to be a cuck? The wishing well even went the extra mile and launched a bunch of chads, for her pleasure. AWALT.
[–]Shangbye3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Why is the guy sad in the 4th frame? He asked for a unicorn and got one. What the fuck more does he want?
[–]Fazee_CS 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Is this even a mgtow sub wtf
[–]Shangbye2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
What are you talking about? The whole point of the red pill is to tell people that unicorns aren't real. If you do magically find a unicorn, why the fuck would you cry about it? She's never gonna fuck you over by definition. Unicorn > money.
[–]SomeGhostingGuy2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

waste, super power teleportation no limits.
can teleport anywhere and bring anything along that's in direct contact with you.
i'd probably proactively... "clean up" some corrupt politicians if i had such powers.
[–]NiceIce1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Indeed. I was thinking of something along the lines of Azazel from the film X-Men: First Class. He has the a ability to mentally open up a viewing portal to portal so he can see where he is teleporting, so he doesn't end up inside a solid object.
[–]KaitouNala0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
yeah im just talking i can warp in masked up do my business and be out, no need for stealth really because it'd be over quick regardless of the method i choose then, out i warp.
even if they have video evidence it'd be hard to nail it down on me because i'd have an alibi, that said the whole portal idea would be interesting as well since i could find a "blind spot" move in do my job then go back to the blind spot to keep my ability a secret.
best part even if i ever come under suspicion somehow you always would have an alibi, "there's no way i was in washington d.c. i have proof that i was in fact in california at that time"
anyways not to mention the tons of other criminal ventures you could pull off with such abilities... its funny when i was a kid i always wondered why any one would choose to be a villain... now i know if i had the power to be... i would likely be one.
[–]Onkel_Adolf1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Wait...if he really did get true love, isn't that better than the other wishes? TRUE love. Think about it.
