I don’t recall if the book discusses hypergamy but it was the book that opened up my eyes to evolutionary psychology and laid the educational building blocks to understanding hypergamy on a much deeper level.

It’s definitely real.

Hey brother, search my post history if you want to know what it was like for a guy who believed NAWALT. I have zero fucks to give about what people think of me since I've basically lost everything. I also have Asperger's and I call it like I see it, although I try to be rooted pretty deeply in empiricism to limit the effect my biases and emotions have on my decisions and thinking. Some of the stuff on the forums is rooted in anger from how these men were treated by women, but even tamping the hyperbole shows that hypergamy is a force of nature. The thing is, when you read these posts, you'll find a lot men who are thinking deeply and critically about their issues with women and how they can live their best possible lives; their thoughts run counter to prevailing narratives and provide a unique perspective. Furthermore, many of these men are older and have the vantage that only time and experience can provide. Yet, you must discover it for yourself. I'd encourage you to read up on MGTOW and Red Pill thinking, and then compare it against more traditional models of living. When you're familiar with the various schools of thought, you'll be able to make better decisions about your life and will have a great ability to plot a course that you actually want. Marriage might work for you and be deeply fulfilling, but it doesn't work out very well for most men. Even those men who stay married report low levels of satisfaction, but there are a few who are living the dream. Good luck in your search.
