No matter how much I’m dead-set in becoming monk mode, there’s a part of me that always wavers in the face of any female that shows any semblance of affection towards me (that isn’t related to me).

I just find it bullshit, how I can’t just turn off the part of my brain that yearns for a mate, and makes me feel bad for being alone. I understand that being alone is great, as I’ve experienced it multiple times and I enjoy it myself. But of course there are times when my brain thinks it’s a bad thing just because I don’t have a female mate of some sort.

It’s probably mostly because I’m 20, and my brain is pumping hormones out on overdrive since this is around the peak age to have offspring.

I can fight this feeling of “loneliness” and drive it back for quite a while, but it still makes me emotionally hurt even though it’s not logical to be emotionally hurt over something that isn’t plausible anymore.

Over are the days of being able to meet a loyal female, or one that can even hold her own in an intellectual conversation. I keep telling myself this, until the biological urges go away.

Sorry for the length, just needed to get some things off of my mind to the community that has supported me so often.
