Those are the times in my life where I would get home and crack a beer and sit on my porch and watch the sky for hours without blinking. Even if a mouse was poking around in the basement I'd hear that shit through layers of stone foundation and I'd snap.

The incessant deafening noise of enormous industrial machinery going on around you for 8 hours a day while being blinded by rows of fluorescent lighting (there are never any windows in these types of places. And no clocks) literally makes you insane.
