Once I had a friend, whom at the time I treated like brother. On one occasion he went behind some dude's back and was trying to score on his gf, which he eventually did. When I reprimanded him on his behavior, he said he did not know that guy and did not care. I lost all respect for him then, I knew he would do the same to me had I had a gf. He was trying to convince me he would never do such thing to me, but I knew better than to accept such low level of morality on his side. I would never do that to anyone. Of course, whores who open up their legs while in a relationship are the worst, but men who know about the situation and still go for it are just the same scum.

that's true for some. This happened several times to me where a friends girl would flirt, hit on me, or try to have sex with me. When this happened, I'd tell my friend. Every time I did, the girl denied it, my friend believed her (because of my reputation), got angry with me, and often stopped being my friend. I'd ask them, if it wasn't true what do I have to gain by telling you? Never got an answer, and I lost many friends. Only a few came back after they learned their sweet, innocent, trustworthy girlfriend was a lying whore.
Another thing that happened, when I rejected these girls who were dating my friends, they'd often tell them I hit on them, which was a lie. Again, my reputation being what it was, the guys always believed the girl not me.

For the women who cheat, they usually will:
Not tell the other guy they're taken (a real dick-.. err.. pussy move, since that doesn't take into account the guy might not be interested in a taken woman).
They tell the other guy flat out, that's it. In that situation, its your choice.
(Most common): They tell the guy but try to justify it by saying whatever negative shit about their current man (be it true or false) to justify the behavior.
I'd be a hypocrite if i stood on my high horse and said I've never slept with a taken woman, but like you, I didn't seek them out either.
It's a really gray area. And when I was a young stud in my 20's I likely wouldn't have passed up the nookie, but now that I'm older, I could give a shit less to get laid, especially with a woman who might have a jealous man or a bunch of eskimo brothers. :)

This is the difference between you and me. There was that one time one of my fellas broke up with his gf. I had known both him and her for a long time and she was somewhat my friend too through him. I always had great contact with that girl, she laughed at my jokes for some reason all the time and so on, I honestly thought she was beautiful and even fantasized about her a lot. That being said I had never made a move on her nor made any contact with her unless in the presence of my fella. Now, when they broke up, she contacted me over and over again and wanted to "meet and talk at her place", but it was obvious she wanted to have revenge sex with me. I could have done it with her whatever way I wanted, however many times I wanted without any effort, but I chose not to and ghosted her. It was when they were already not together, so in a way it would have been alright. My bromance with that mate was more important to me. Now, years have passed and at some point he has plunged the dagger in my back and we have not been friends for a long, long time now. Still, I regret nothing. I am proud, that I stuck to my principles at the hour of trial.

True to form nearly every girl that hit on me, flirted with me or wanted more when she was with one of my friends ended up cheating on my friends eventually. I can't recall any exceptions, though it was a long time ago I'd remember because it would be unique.
If my friend broke up with a girl, out of courtesy I'd ask if it would be cool with him if I went for her. Most guys didn't care after they were done. a few did, and some told me the truth about why the broke up. One of my best friends at the time ended up marrying and having a kid with one of my ex girlfriends. Before he was married, he asked me about us, I said you want the real truth? He did, so I told him. He married her anyway. They eventually divorced.
I regret nothing. I apologize for nothing. If that makes me an asshole I'm fine with it. Since my separation and divorce before going my own way, all the women I was with were single as far as I know. I'm indifferent and invisible now, been awhile since my last FWB and ONS. If I'm looking to get laid (I'm not) her relationship status doesn't matter, she made the commitment not me.

Hits too close to home. My now ex went out one night and I saw her drinking with some guys in her snap story so I kinda assumed she’d cheat that night. No particular reason to think that but I just had a gut feeling. She heads back to her place and I ask if I can come over (5 min walk) and she says abruptly “no. I’m going to bed. Goodnight”. I knew what she was doing. 30 mins later, she responds to my snap I sent her earlier and I’m like, thought you went to bed. Turns out she did fuck one of the dudes and hid it.
