Nah, men do not help women just for sex.
Men do love and care for women whom they sleep with and treat them right, else marriage would never have existed, we wouldn't have given women rights (which make it harder to get sex), men wouldn't stay loyal if a women becomes ugly, etc.

This. In the old times, when everything sucked, managing the household was quite a task. It takes time to kill a chicken, pull its feathers, cut it, cook it, and then clean up afterward. There isn't enough time for a man to work in the fields all day and then do all this other shit that takes just as long. Even if you didn't have kids, having a wife could add real value to your life.
Now that life is easy enough to do alone, it's hard for partnerships to assemble in ways that make sense. Imagine you are a woman with a career. Why do you need a man? You don't. You should only get one if the value he brings is more than enough to make up for the hassle of living with someone and putting up with their personality quirks. It only makes sense to marry up and by a lot.

Saw a recent post on facebook with a man "marrying" a hatsune miku hologram and there were so many women shaming him that he's a pedophile or crazy and shouldn't even be allowed near children or to teach (he teachers middle-schoolers) or whatever. But getting tons of cats or getting fucked by dogs and sending nudes to little boys is somehow more appropiate or something compared to a guy just liking a fucking unreal hologram. Also they were so damn triggered at the hologram calling him "master". If the genders were switched I bet they'd be all over it.
It barely even looks human in the first place and it has an unnatural voice as well. Plus if the guy was depressed and this helped it, what's the problem. If the only women in his life were like the ones posting those comments, no wonder he married a hologram.
I guess I'm on a bit of a rant, but it was rather annoying seeing these women basically shaming and wanting his life ruined (not being allowed to teach), just because he likes a hologram. Not to mention the only answer they had was that he needed to seek help or a woman. Yeah definitely seek more bluepill brainwash that you pay for or another parasyte. Because just a hologram that's not harming anyone and making him feel happy is somehow wrong.
