First, I don't really care that some people say MGToW are complaining about women. Maybe we are, maybe we aren't. Part of going your own way is being man enough not to care too much about what other people think.

Focus on other people's thoughts about you, that's the woman's way - staying in the herd, making sure to act with the consensus, a preoccupation with standing in the group.

The own in Men Going Their Own Way means that they just don't care what other people think of their life choices.

I've been here less than a week but from the posts I have looked at (going back about ~8 days or so) I couldn't name one similar to what you're describing off the top of my head. And I haven't gotten the impression there are too many posts like it, nor will there be.

So I ask you, what is so broken about the upvote/downvote buttons that using them when confronted with a post whose merit YOU disagree with yet might still benefit others here is an unacceptable solution?

Zealous moderating is effective when trying to maintain a very specific focus, but given the open-ended nature of MGTOW and all it entails there is little benefit to restricting conversation. If you don't like a thread, simply move on from it. If the subreddit were inundated with these posts you describe then you'd have a foothold but as of right now I don't really understand what prompted this post whatsoever.
