You can conduct these experiments yourself if you have a dog and a female human around. I guarantee you the dog figures out the puzzles whilst the woman just has one attempt then gives up with a clueless look and tries to laugh her stupidity away.

Sure they're disloyal, think of only themselves, lie, and ruin everything but that just means they don't belong to the same species of human.

But dolphins have that high-speed squeak chirp that sounds like they're bitching at you. And if you go into the water with them they might try to hump you. I prefer dogs.

Although dolphins can be incredibly intelligent and are often affectionate toward and form bonds with humans (they have been know to give gifts to people in Australia, team up with Brazilian fishermen, and blow fun bubble rings, for example), the animals can be incredibly dangerous, too.
