Oooohhh the little sister. I have lived this in my own experience. I get shitty stuff, she gets anything she asks. I have to put money for the rent amd pay my own bills, she (more than 18 and working) doesnt. And still get her own bills paid by my parents. My own family was my own red pill, years ago.

Is this parents' gifts to the siblings? I never had a sibling but Id probably never forgive my parents for that and I don't even really want a car, it's the message that counts. And the socks make it even more insulting than no gift at all. It's like "here are your damn socks, which technically qualified as me giving you the present, now I'm done with it".
