You know what’s the biggest red pill of it all in relation to this? Ayesha was literally the “good girl” who was his high school sweetheart — literally the one he marries so he could (ideally) circumvent and bypass this superficial bullshit. So not only did he end up marrying an ungrateful hoe (which he was entirely trying to avoid by marrying her in the first place), he married one with far suboptimal looms than he could have gotten if he really wanted to play the market.
