honestly dating a single mother is beyond stupid. Dating any woman is beyond stupid, but especially single mothers.

It's awful because you are not going to have any intimacy in your family. You are going to have family dinners and holidays with a stranger, some random person because there are not blood ties. Who is the single mom's child for you ? Not a relative and not a friend. It's a stranger you can't get rid off forever. Even when it's adult he/she will still come to Christmas, family dinners ... etc. And that child isn't going to like you because you are a stranger for him/her too. And if you have any kids with single mom, they will have only halfbrother and halfsister and they kids may end up resent each other. That's really bad deal. Romantic holidays for 2 - Unthinkable. Every thing you do will have to incorporate children. Including what you watch on TV and when.

Then you will be expected to actually be somewhat of a father figure. This in conflict to the most likely bitter guy who she fucked over and left, if he doesn't despise you, you'll despise her, all the time and at any given moment you try to establish some discipline, you'll be hearing "You're not even my real father". Worse the bitch will turn on you too since her children come first.

Absolutely no fucking way, I can't think of a more obvious red flag than a single mother.

Thought: It should be normalized that if you enter into a relationship with a single mother with one child that you can bring one child of your own in from a fling at any time.
