I'm a single child, so I never experienced that familial bond that comes with having siblings. Still, it's shown everywhere in movies, books, in real life with friends, it seems nearly unbreakable.

Its true in some cases. Before it was stronger and common. Now sibling bonds are becoming rare. For me I have found my family in friends. I trust them totally. But I am to keep in mind that tables can turn at any moment these days. But hopefully its been 10 years these friends have been loyal as always.

Sadly, reality is vastly different from movies and books. Sibling bond can be one of the best things in life but for that you'd need to have a good sibling and which rarely happens. Generally sibling bonds aren't that special and aren't better than a good friendship. Also, sibling bond gets weaker as siblings grow up. Being a single child has its advantages too like your parents resources will be spent only on you 😂😂

I mean, to be fair, it probably took all of five minutes to put in. They would have had some sort of text there anyway, just had to decide what they wanted it to say. If you believe in the lie, it was actually pretty clever. Creative, definitely unique, nobody else is going to have that proposal, and yet zero cost to all parties. Of course that was the problem. He didn’t waste 6 months salary paying for the proposal where he gives her the ring he spent another six months salary on.
