I believe this was a grand conspiracy that started at the time of the baby boomers, that allowed them to change so many laws.

No fault divorce.

Abortion on demand.

Child support laws.

Restraining orders.

Others.

But I don't think it was the fault of one generation. They snookered us pretty well. But now were have figured it out.

The problems go back WAAAAAY further than that. It was the so called "Greatest Generation" [sic] and the "Silent Generation" that gave us things like (modern second & third wave) feminism, the no-fault divorce, and so on.

But the problems also DIDN'T just stem from those two prior generations either -- they go back much further than that -- arguably the FOUNDATION of the present shit storm was the "Tender Years Doctrine" that was first established in England in 1839; and the ROOT cause(s) of that (and a lot of other aspects of the present "insanity") go back even further yet to things like the "Romantic" movement, and the (so called) "Enlightenment" era... which laid the groundwork of crap like "soul mates" and the idea that Women were "inherently GOOD, loving and kind" (as opposed to the historical view {going back all the way to ancient history} that Women were at least as malicious, corrupt, and "sinful" creatures as Men, if not more so).

It was actually a concerted effort by the Soviet Union to weaken the US, which was (is) the leader of the free world, which they assumed would lead the world to "The Great Leap Forward" (Communism) Much of the process began with the intelligentsia (university profs, philosophers, etc) of the time who were recruited in the 1920s and 1930s when they were students--and the western world had just experienced WW1 which shattered monarchies and a generation all over Europe, they experienced the Great Depression--into this world the Soviets infiltrated European universities by proselytizing Communism/Marxism. In Germany, a Socialist named Adolf Hitler came into power and threw another European and American generation into another world war. Needless to say, such cataclysmic events occurring so close to one another coloured the outlook of many people who grew up in 20s and 30s (seeing the fathers and older siblings coming back from WW1 destroyed) fought a war in the 40s. Communism was pushed as a Utopian dream where greedy capitalists could not force nations to fight one another. There is also FBI findings that the Soviet Union encouraged racial conflict in the US. So when many of these men started teaching at universities throughout Europe, the US and Canada...the worm that started the demise of Western society was laid. The upheaval began in the mid to late 1960s which coincided with the older boomers coming into their teenage/early 20 years the approximate age when kids tend to rebel against their parents/society. However, this time around there were so many of them that the changes had a lasting effect.
