That's funny, I seem to recall quite a bit of hatred from Paul toward many MGTOW. People remember, Paul.
[–]CiceroVoltaire25 points26 points27 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Maybe he changed his mind? Now sees the reality with better clarity?
Some guys resist, because they have to see reality for what it is, and it changes everything you thought you knew to be true about women. Seeing the truth and reality of women in modern society is like our Gom Jabar (Dune reference) most men fail the shittest and go back to plantation because they can't handle the truth.
He has to decide what going his own way means to him, as do we all.

I think one of the great shames in the MGTOW movement is what I consider to be the unfortunate label. People take it to mean, "doing what you want," when it obviously cannot mean that, as everybody since the dawn of time has been doing what they want, including women, anti-MGTOW, blue pill cucks, etc, and I think we can all agree that they are not MGTOW.
To me, it means rejecting gynocentrism, and the problem is that gynocentrism is so entwined in our lives that we hardly recognize it, even when it's placed under our noses. I reject marriage as it's a gynocentric institution.
It's possible that Paul changed his mind, but have a listen to the interview with huMAN I mention in the thread below and decide for yourself.

MGTOW isn't a movement...
[–]gtowerthrowaway1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
True. I guess you can say, "one of the great shames about MGTOW is what..."
[–]surething_fella0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
So many different people all make this claim...
Like a movement against movements.....

What he did for men far outweighs anything he said about MGTOW. Dissent is the last thing we need in this community. His Ear for Men channel is quite brilliant.

Which is? I ask in all sincerity. What has AVFM accomplished with the money he's raised over the years that a guy like TFM hasn't also accomplished?
[–]Orbit-Man1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I was referring to his media outreach. I'm not informed on his activism, but am familiar with the failures of MRA in general. Even with the failures, however, it's important to have that presence so that no one can claim men haven't tried. Their engagements with society generate many arguments that we all use to prove our points.
I love TFM and if people took his message to heart we would probably create more change, but so far I would gage AVFM's impact as more significant. It's not a competition though, both messages need to be heard, and we would be in a darker place without either of them.

What I find odd is that I learned about MGTOW from him about 6 years ago. I was like ok, didn't think much of it, then after the Red Pill, I'm here finally.

He also gained about 40 pounds
[–]Juvenal101 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
He tried to coin the term 'PIGTOW' a couple years ago before A Voice for Men got cucked.

It's all about the $$$. Who has the most disposable income? Single men, of course.
[–]cleats4u18 points19 points20 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Paul has been with a woman for about 20 years. I wonder why she puts up with him saying stuff like this? Money, that's why? I wonder how many Coach handbags has she purchased with all that patreon money?
[–]TheGreatEvil12 points13 points14 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
He has a YouTube channel called 'an ear for man' just so that you know. His videos seem mostly psychological.
[–]rtmlex8 points9 points10 points 7 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link
This is the guy who hated MGTOW and groveled at the feet of the “reformed” cunt who made that joke called “The Red Pill”.

Hey that movie opened my eyes and showed me the path of MGTOW I was completely blind to what women have been doing behind the scenes it may not have been the best movie for MGTOW but it serves its purpose which is bringing more men to GTOW
[–]twosidestoeverycoin4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Same. It was that documentary which led me on my search for MGTOW knowledge and this sub inadvertently.
[–]MrMannheim1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
So what happened to have caused the above quote? Did he suddenly "grow the balls to grab freedom", or is he just skirting with controversy?
[–]gtowerthrowaway12 points13 points14 points 7 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link
No, MRA basically went down the toilet because some geniuses decided it would be more effective to have women plead for men's rights. So they brought in women, and that was the end. I mean, in theory it's a nice idea, since nobody does anything unless it's for the benefit of women. But really, they should have seen that it would just turn into a bunch of washed up trad-con women hawking books and not really thinking of men much at all.
But the truth is that the MRM never accomplished anything at all (for reasons I won't go into now, but I cannot recommend RBK's vid series on the subject enough, and TFM discusses this too). The smart people jumped ship to MGTOW at the outset, and guys like Paul tried to fight it, categorizing "good" MGTOW and those he didn't like. He pushed the idea that married guys can be MGTOW, even though it's long been the consensus of the community otherwise.
But even a guy as slow as Paul can see which way the wind is blowing. I don't know when or where he said that specific quote. I'm always skeptical when I see quotes on a face like this, but he may have said it at some point.
And for what it's worth, hosting Paul is why I unsubbed from huMAN. I mean, I actually gave it a shot. And I highly recommend that you go listen for yourself. Human has an old-school MRA on his show for an hour, and they literally spent the entire time bashing men. Fuck that shit. huMAN has balls of steel for showing his face, but I won't abide by the bashing of men.

Thanks, I'll give these a watch. Ironically I heard about MGTOW from a vid Paul was in.

Here's the first of RBK's series.

Ironically for myself, I support "men's rights." But while women vote and cucks vote with them, it's downhill from here. Oh sure, make noise, but see what good it will do you. It's like how businesses all seem to support the left. Well, that's a no-brainer. If they support the right, the leftists go batshit, picket the homes of staff, call for banning their products, etc. If they support the left, you get crickets from the right. Politics is the same. If a politician supports shit like the "Violence Against Women Act" - a sexist law if there was ever one - they get lauded. If they don't, they get hounded for the rest of their career by feminist harridans.
So I won't buy P&G products, and that and similar small efforts will have to do.

Solid info, bro. Thanks.

Maybe he said that, before he came to the realisation that MGTOW are not MRA, therefore dont provide resources for his organisation.
[–]UmbrellalikeWetness-1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Haven't watched it. Is there an in depth analysis available somewhere?
[–]dazed1112 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
It's underwhelming if you're already redpilled. I was surprised by how mild the documentary was. Based on the hyped I thought it would be earth shattering.
[–]UmbrellalikeWetness-1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Maybe it's Earth shattering is you're fully blue pill?
[–]antifeminist39 points10 points11 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
MGTOW also reduces the pool of available men. This reduces a woman's chance of getting a man.
[–]Astral-Projector7 points8 points9 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This guy introduced me to the red pill as i stumbled on one of his videos a couple of years ago. Solid information, basically red pilled, no MGTOW content. At the time i think it was gold, a light and humble eye opener for me.
He can be whatever he want for some people, but im not gonna question his experience and knowledge, that i can respect. I guess some people have issues and lacking the intellectual capability to take into account whats releveant for you regarding some information and knowledge with a grain of salt. I see a lot of people just blindly listens to people like sheeps and quoting left and right.

cannot argue with that.

Throughout history our society has always been Gynocentric. It had to in order to survive. Women stayed behind while men went off to war. A small tribe of 1 man and 10 women of childbearing age can replenish itself; but a small tribe of 1 woman and 10 men will just die out. Men have always been expendable out of necessity. What has changed besides technology and industrialization and agriculture and population growth is that it is no longer necessary to have a Gynocentric Society where women and children go first and men are expendable. With over 7.5 Billion people on the planet we do not need Gynocentrism in order to survive. But the rules (laws) which were laid down by societies since the advent of agriculture and rise of cities and work specialization have changed a great deal. In the past such laws restrained a woman's natural impulses; today it is Hypergamy unchained. A marriage means nothing anymore. In the past a divorce was difficult, and cause had to be shown, and prior to 1867 in a divorce: the MAN would get custody of the Children. That law changed, and then the State started to enforce both Alimony payments and Child support payments. And more laws such as Spousal Rape laws and Domestic Abuse laws were enacted; and a man could be evicted from his home without any proof that he committed such an act. In essence the system became even more Gynocentric and shifted more power from Men to Women. The Egalitarianism being pushed by the Feminists is really more Gynocentrism dressed up and disguised as a Faux Egalitarianism. Where women get special privileges but do not suffer the same accountability and responsibility as men. MGTOW is a rational answer to a system that is out of control and has created an unstable society and destroyed mens lives.

Isnt this bitch married?
[–]Teflon081910 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
When did he say this?
If it was any time after he drove his MRA thing into the ground then I think we all know what this is. A shameless rebranding effort.

The more men become MGTOW, the harder it gets for women to find a husband to economically exploit.
