The irony of the right wing is they want "small government" and fight tooth and nail to live in everyday dictatorship and oppression under corporations that completely denigrate them as workers and human beings.

Honestly, if Google/YouTube was a state-owned or state-sponsored, then it would be accurate. However, YouTube is a private corporation; they have the freedom of association and are allowed to disassociate with anyone on their platform. I honestly do not understand the "outrage" and "shock" that mostly right-wing content producers have displayed over this matter — even a fucking 13 year old could probably predict this would happen sometime in the future. YouTube is mostly entertainment based media, and they probably don't want to have some bullshit civil rights lawsuit against them for promoting hate speech or some bullshit (which is the primary reason why Google is so progressive in the first place and why they 'love' to excessively hire women). Google is publicly-traded, so unless major investors start complaining or they see a significant loss in revenue (again, the grand majority of their revenue comes from entertainment-based media — e.g. vevo accounts and the sort), nothing will be changed. Lastly, content creators should look to diversify their platforms — that's the overall conclusion to the situation.
