This is a post meant to abate some of the circlejerk and misconceptions I’ve been seeing in this sub. Some of it might understandably be due to “red pill rage”, but ultimately I feel like if you’re going to decide on a life philosophy, it should be based on a solid foundation. As someone who’s been MGTOW long before the term existed, let me give you a more honed perspective on some of the stuff that gets discussed here.

  • There will be no “decline”, or “collapse”.

At least not due to MGTOW. I know plenty of good-looking dudes who make 6 or even 7 figures a year, and they’re almost all married or engaged. To who? Completely average plain janes with no particular accomplishments or special attributes. Those guys will almost inevitably be cucked and divorce raped for being “emotionally unavailable” (because they worked their asses off to finance her lifestyle, which they’ll pay doubly for in divorce). Nothing has changed, and nothing will.

Society has been gynocentric since its inception. Women are completely flooded with options when it comes to men, and for every man that goes MGTOW, ten desperate simps will take his place. The world will not change or suffer because you watched a few Youtube videos.

And why even look forward to a “collapse”? Why even hope that laws or societal attitudes will change? So you can live out the tradcon fantasy of working like a mule for the rest of your life and having missionary position sex once a month? You might want to reconsider your philosophy if that’s the case.

  • Feminism is not the problem.

Feminism can be faulted for the cruel and absurd notion that society was ever favored towards men. Men have always worked more, risked more, and died more, only for the fruits of their efforts to be siphoned off to the nearest woman. However, feminism did not corrupt women or anything to that effect; they have simply always been that way. Posts like this (from u/Coluphid) sum it up. It doesn’t matter how far back you look, even religious and philosophical texts from thousands of years ago will say the same things. Feminism didn’t make women worse; it’s just a political manifestation of their nature. It’s perhaps more obvious today than before, but ultimately the same as it ever was.

  • Women are not stupid.

Often you’ll read on this sub of the useless HR worker, the incompetent boss and of course the random party slut. What tends to get ignored are the female doctors, scientists, engineers, etc. that also exist. I’ve worked with plenty of women with doctorate level degrees, and believe me, they aren’t any worse at their job than men are. They might even be slightly better at academia, as the female brain is better attuned to doing things slow and steadily. On IQ tests men and women score pretty much the same on average.

The areas that women are lacking are at the very highest levels of competition, or at the very borders of innovation, where they are outcompeted by men 10:1. But otherwise, women perform as well as men in the vast majority of activities, the vast majority of the time. Of course academic intelligence doesn’t tell the whole story (for instance, even the most educated women are usually still boring), but the point is you still have to work or maybe live with them and to underestimate them would be shooting yourself in the foot.

  • Women are not evil.

Tying in with the above themes, women are not necessarily evil, it is just their nature. The things that we might consider dishonest or malicious, comes to them as naturally as breathing. There’s no point in wasting your emotional energy hating something which has been the same way for eons, and feels no remorse about it. You may as well shake your fist at the sky when it rains or yell at wolves for having sharp teeth.

  • You cannot truly go your own way.

The government and its army of mindless enforcers won’t allow you to. Chances are, most of you pay taxes or will pay taxes in the future. The tax on your income and the tax on that boat you buy will go directly to funding stuff like single motherhood, the welfare state, and court proceedings for alimony and false allegations. Being unmarried, you will also pay higher taxes in general, and women will be the primary beneficiary of those taxes. Someday, you may also be forced into war to die for them. In the end, you cannot truly go your own way while under the boot of the State.

By going MGTOW, you’ve acknowledged something that most of society hasn’t or isn’t willing to. Great, hopefully you benefit from it. But if you’re MGTOW for any reason beyond attempting to achieve self-fulfillment, you will be disappointed.
