And if you arent armed, take a course at your local gun range, and invest in decent hardware. Better to have and not need, than need and not have.

The most probable thing is social unrest in larger urban areas. Nothing super major to worry about, just gear up and get your situation in proper order, and wait and see what really happens from a low anxiety perspective.

I suspect something in Washington will trigger leftist loons with nothing to do to begin violence in major leftist cities like NYC, LA, San Francisco. It will remain localized to those cities because the rioters will be too lazy to walk to other areas. The media will give plenty of press to it so it spreads.

The only real downside to the rest of the country would be the leftist cities are usually larger and serve as transportation hubs for air, ship, rail, and truck.
