kind of they look rusty but still have that beautiful classic look unlike america where it is just ugly shitty houses in the suburbs and even uglier skyscraper and buildings at the downtown

Oh Ive been there! Its a great city to visit, and Croatia itself is also beautiful. Water is azure blue, I could see right through the water to the bottom.
Diocletians palace is there (the city was his place of retirement if I recall it correctly), so plenty of that roman era is still visible.
People are great too, proud and very welcoming! Food is great, they basically have a bit of heir own styles, but also very nice influence from Italy and Austria/Hungary.
I can only recommend going there, it was cheap back in the day, but nowadays can get a bit more expensive. Still, much cheaper than Italy and still just as nice.
