yep. my mom is like that. She will keep getting pissy about things and like make me do nice things for her. when really asking someone to be nice to you isn’t the way to make them do nice things.
dad on the other hand will do things and not even acknowledge it. like he once fixed a broken remote we thought would not be fixed (which meant buying a new gadget). I say thank you and he was like “I didn’t even do anything”
