I constantly see men working themselves to death. Most of the time it is to satisfy their wife or girlfriend who constantly wants more because nothing is ever enough. And what do women do when they want more? Do they make businesses? Do they work harder? Do they get a job? No. They nag the men in their lives to work harder, to take more risks, to man up and go out and provide. And if anything happens to you they won't care, simply branch swing and justify it as you were not a real man, you couldn't provide, you're weak.

So there's two things I'd like to stress in this post:

(1) Stop working so hard. Live a minimalist life style. Don't work too hard (even at work) unless it directly benefits you (99% of the time it won't. If you want more money horizontal mobility is the only way). Most of the time you will be passed up for that promotion in favor of a diversity hire. Stress can eat at your health. There's diminishing returns to working too hard.

(2) Don't marry. Don't trap yourself.
